WEECE is a non-governmental organization without any financial link or support from the government. Our programs depend mainly on donations from institutions and friends from all over the world.

As an NGO, we have a lot of different expenses. While we do get volunteers regularly, we must employ some workers, meaning having to pay wages. There are also running costs for the office we use.
To help the VICOBA members, even with only support and knowledge, we have to pay for transportation.
The Zawadi Institute also needs a lot of funds, since the school fees are kept as low as possible to enable unprivileged students to study there. And still, about 70% of students are supported by sponsorships. Without these, the Institute could not continue. Even now, the school capacity is underused and more sponsorships and donations are desperately needed.
