Women's Education & Economic Centre (WEECE Projects) operates the website weeceprojects.com to empower women and girls through education, vocational training, and economic development programs. All donations collected through this platform directly support our non-profit mission.

By making a donation via our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your contribution. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please contact us to arrange alternative support methods.

💳 2. Donation Processing & Payment

All online donations are processed through trusted third‑party payment gateways (such as Stripe, PayPal, or similar). WEECE Projects does not store your full credit card or banking details on our servers. Your payment information is encrypted and handled according to PCI DSS standards.

• Currency: Donations are accepted in USD (US Dollars) by default, unless other options are shown. International currency conversions may apply based on your payment provider.
• Minimum donation: We accept any amount starting from $1. However, for processing efficiency, contributions below $5 may incur a small deduction by payment gateways.
• Tax receipts: WEECE Projects will issue an official donation receipt via email for every contribution. Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., USA, Canada, UK), donations may be tax-deductible. Please consult your local tax advisor. Our tax ID/EIN is available upon request.
• Recurring donations: If you choose a monthly or recurring gift, you authorize WEECE Projects to charge your selected payment method at the agreed interval until you cancel. You may cancel recurring donations anytime by contacting donate@weeceprojects.com or via your donor portal (if available).

🔄 3. Refund & Cancellation Policy

We deeply appreciate every gift. Due to the nature of charitable contributions, donations are generally considered final and non-refundable. However, we honour the following exceptional circumstances:

• Unintentional duplicate donation: If you accidentally make two identical donations within 24 hours, please notify us within 7 days, and we will refund the duplicate amount after verification.
• Technical error: If an incorrect amount was processed due to a website error, we will refund the difference or the full amount if you did not intend the donation.
• Change of mind: Refunds are not provided for change of mind, but you may request to reallocate your donation to a specific WEECE program (e.g., scholarship fund or skills lab).
• To request a refund or adjustment, email donate@weeceprojects.com within 14 days of the transaction with your receipt details.

🌱 4. Use of Donations & Allocation

WEECE Projects is committed to responsible stewardship. Your donation will be used to advance women’s education, economic empowerment, and community development. Unless you designate your gift for a specific campaign (e.g., "Back to School Drive" or "Entrepreneurship Grant"), we reserve the right to allocate funds where the need is greatest.

• Administrative & fundraising costs are kept minimal, and at least 85% of all unrestricted donations go directly to program services.
• For designated donations (where you select a specific project), WEECE will make reasonable efforts to honour your designation. If a project becomes fully funded or is discontinued, we will reallocate your gift to a similar initiative and notify you.
• We publish annual impact reports and financial summaries on our website. You can request a detailed breakdown at any time.

Your privacy matters. When you make a donation, we collect personal information such as name, email address, mailing address, and payment transaction details. This information is used to:

• Process and confirm your donation, and send tax receipts.
• Keep you updated about WEECE's impact (if you opt-in to communications).
• Comply with legal and tax reporting requirements.

We never sell, rent, or trade donor information. We may share limited data with payment processors, banks, or auditors as necessary. We strive to ensure donation pages are accurate and secure, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. WEECE Projects is not liable for any indirect loss or damage arising from the use of our donation platform, except where prohibited by law.

By donating, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent, and that the payment information you provide is legitimate and yours.

WEECE Projects may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in legal requirements or our operational practices.
